Sonia Ogiri says she sent divine warning to Simon Guobadia before marriage

Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri has claimed she received a spiritual message about businessman Simon Guobadia ahead of his troubled marriage, a warning she says she delivered but was ignored.

In a recent Instagram post, Ogiri shared a screenshot of a direct message she sent to Guobadia on April 1, 2024. In the message, she stated that she had initially reached out from a now-deactivated verified account after receiving what she described as a divine revelation in a dream.

“I’m just a normal lady that hears GOD sometimes. If you will listen to me. Have a great day,” the message read.

Clarifying her intentions in the caption, Ogiri said her spiritual warning wasn’t aimed at Guobadia alone. She revealed that she also sent a similar message to the wife of well-known businessman Obi Cubana, claiming she received divine instructions concerning her as well.

“This isn’t for clout,” she wrote, “but for others to learn not to ignore spiritual nudges.”

She added: “GOD chooses who He wants to use.
I feel so sad for this man Simon, not because I know the whole truth but because I had a message for him and Obi Cubana’s wife.
I personally sent them messages from my verified account and told two of my friends at the time. This was long before the marriage, which GOD was clearly warning against.”

Ogiri went on to express her frustration over how such warnings are often dismissed:
“We joke about everything, even when we should listen. I’m not looking to get messages for people—I’m focused on my life—but when He sends me, I deliver the message regardless.
May GOD help us all.
Me posting this isn’t to get a response—what’s done is done. I just want people to learn. Obi’s wife’s message is still in her inbox. Whether she takes it seriously or not is up to her.”
