Sosoliso plane crash survivor and singer, Kechi Okwuchi, has undergone another medical procedure, this time to correct issues with her eyelid.
The America’s Got Talent finalist shared the update on Sunday, September 14, revealing that she had the operation three days earlier.
She explained that the skin around her eyelid had become too tight, making it hard for her to blink or fully close her eyes, which began to affect her vision.
She wrote on her Twitter page: Currently 3 days post-op from eyelid surgery. The skin on my eyelids is tight, making me unable to close my eyes or blink properly, which started to affect my eyesight, hence the need for surgery. My last surgery was in 2019 so it’s kinda weird to be back here after so long lol.”
Kechi, who has been through about 140 surgeries since the December 10, 2005 crash that claimed 106 lives, including those of 60 of her schoolmates, posted pictures from her hospital bed.
