Stone: $18m was emptied from my account after I had stroke

The basic Instinct movie star, Sharon Stone has taken swipe at people she claimed ‘took advantage’ of her while she suffered from a brain bleed in 2001.

The veteran American actress told The Hollywood Reporter how she lost all her savings during a stroke that led to brain hemorrhage.

“I had $18million saved because of all my success, but when I got back into my bank account, it was all gone. My refrigerator, my phone, everything was in  other people’s names. I had no money.”

The 66 year old confirmed also that she decided to stay positive and live in the present rather than being bitter because of what she went through. 

“ I decided to stay present and let go. I decided not to hang onto being sick or to any bitterness or anger.”

Sharon went on further to say, “if you bite into the seed of bitterness, it never leaves you. But if you hold faith even if that faith is the size of a mustard seed, you’ll survive. So I live for joy now, I live for purpose.”

The actress also revealed that she takes daily medication to manage her condition which often mean stuttering and brain seizures.
