Subsidy removal: Tinubu will achieve more in few days than ex-president Buhari’s eight years

A public affairs commentator, Reno Omokri, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would achieve more than former president Muhammadu Buhari’s achievements in eight years, if courageous enough not to back down over the removal of fuel subsidy.

Omokri via his Twitter handle said on the issue of subsidy removal, Tinubu has his complete and unalloyed support.

This was coming a few days after the former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan hailed Tinubu’s removal of subsidy as a bold move.

Omokri, however, vowed to unseat Tinubu as president because the election that produced him was not credible.

Omokri tweeted: “If Tinubu is courageous enough not to back down over the removal of subsidy, then he would have achieved in a few days more than Buhari achieved in eight years. I will democratically fight to unseat Tinubu on the land, air and sea because I believe the #NigerianElections2023 were not credible. But on this issue of fuel subsidy, he has my complete and unalloyed support.”

Recalled that NRTC earlier reported that  Tinubu during his inaugural speech, said subsidy had gone and can no longer be sustainable in Nigeria.
