Super Falcons to face Cameroon in two friendlies to be played in Nigeria

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed venues for the Super Falcons’ upcoming friendlies against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne and Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, will host the matches.

The two friendlies are scheduled for Friday, 30 May, and Tuesday, 3 June 2025, respectively – The first of the two matches will be played in Ikenne while the second will be staged at Onikan.

These games are vital as the Super Falcons continue their build-up to the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Also, the friendlies form part of a broader plan to sharpen the team before the major tournament. Nigeria’s technical crew, led by Justine Madugu, aims to fine-tune tactics and assess player readiness with the games.

Although these are key preparation games, the Super Falcons are expected to play more warm-up matches before WAFCON kicks off. The tournament, set for Morocco, will gather the best teams across Africa.
