Erik ten Hag is reportedly on the verge of sealing a sensational return to management with Bayer Leverkusen, as Xabi Alonso prepares to take the reins at Real Madrid.
After months out of the spotlight, the former Manchester United boss seems set to re-enter the dugout with a Bundesliga giant that recently enjoyed its most historic season.
Ten Hag, who was dismissed by United in October 2024, has been biding his time despite several offers. Nevertheless, sources close to the Dutchman confirmed earlier this month that he planned to return to management by July.
