Gareth Bale sealed a season-long loan move back to Tottenham Hotspur from Real Madrid. The Welsh star has returned to the club he left 7 years ago.
Since his move to Real Madrid on a then world-record fee of Ā£85m, Bale has been constantly linked with a move away from the club.
At each transfer window, a move back to Spurs always seemed more likely than to any other club. This time around, it just happened!
Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy was the main driver of the reunion. It is also well known that Tottenham Manager – Jose Mourinho – is a long time admirer of the Welshman.
The tactician has publicly admitted that he wanted to sign Bale during his time at the Spanish capital.
Now that the move back to Spurs has materialized, it begs the question, āWill he form a formidable frontline with Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane?ā

Bale is currently recovering from a knee injury sustained in his last Nations League outing for Wales. He will therefore be out of action for about a month. This means that fans will have to wait to see the new frontline in action.
Although his departure from Real Madrid is like a bitter divorce, he was phenomenally successful with the Spanish side. He won four Champions League titles, two La Liga titles, a Copa Del Rey, and a handful of Super cups with the Galacticos.

Gareth Bale on the attacking line
Although there might be some doubt over his fitness, his talent has never been in question.
Kane and Son proved last weekend how formidable they are together. Harry Kane assisted all of Sonās four goals. The English striker also bagged one for himself in their 5-2 comeback win against Southampton on Sunday evening.
Kane, a two-time EPL golden boot winner is widely regarded as the most prolific goalscorer. He has shown how good he is in also setting up others to score.

Son, on the other hand, has undoubtedly been Tottenhamās best winger since the departure of Gareth Bale. The Korean has scored 57 goals and provided 33 assists for the club since his arrival in 2015.
He also won the 2019/2020 Budweiser goal of the season for his incredible individual effort against Burnley last season.
Throwing Gareth Bale into that mix is definitely scary for any opponent. A force to be reckoned with and no doubt, a formidable frontline this season.
