In July 2022, JJC Skillz announced the dissolvement of his union with his former wife, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele.
While Funke Akindele has never made a statement about their divorce, it is no longer news that the former celebrity couple are co-parenting. Their union lasted for seven years and the now estranged couple welcomed a set of twins prior to their divorce.
The details of their divorce have remained private despite the shocking revelation.

In a trending video on social media, JJC Skillz was present at the movie premiere of Funke Akindele’s latest movie, She Must Be Obeyed in Lagos state. It equally important to note that the movie was directed by JJC Skillz who has also appeared in numerous Funke Akindele production, including Jenifa’s Diary.

The former celebrity couple warmed hearts as they embraced each other and expressed camaraderie once again.
The event was also graced by popular celebrities like Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, Jaiye Kuti, Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Abraham among others.
