Defending champions Real Madrid suffered a 3-1 home defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
AC Milan took the lead through Malick Thiaw’s well-placed header much to the silence of the Madrid fans. Vinicius Jr levelled for Real with a composed penalty, giving the home side a brief lifeline.
However, former Madrid, Atlético, and Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata restored Milan’s lead before halftime with a clinical finish.

Netherlands international Tijjani Reijnders then secured the victory with Milan’s third goal, dashing Madrid’s comeback hopes. This defeat follows Madrid’s embarrassing 4-0 loss to Barcelona in October.
Their recent La Liga game against Valencia had been postponed due to severe flooding in eastern Spain. Also, star forward, Kylian Mbappe again failed to score, extending his struggles in front of goal. He has scored only once in six games.
