Today, Monday, May 29 is the presidential inauguration of the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He emerged winner of the February 25, 2023 presidential election which took place across the country. Several days later, on Wednesday, March 1, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who served as the presidential candidate for the incumbent ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) was announced winner of the national exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Though his emergence has been met with numerous conspiracy theories and allegations, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will officially be conferred the title of the number one citizen of the country today.

Tinubu will pick the baton from the outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari, who is also a member of APC.

The presidential inauguration is coming several days after the youth arm of the ruling party organized a concert ‘Renewed Hope’ where several numerous Nigerian artistes across various genres came together to perform. Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu served as the chairperson of the committee.
In this article, we would be discussing ten notable Nigerian celebrities who showed solidarity with Tinubu during his presidential campaign and after he was announced winner of the February 25 election.

- Eniola Badmus
The renowned Yoruba movie actress, Eniola Badmus was amongst the outspoken celebrities for Tinubu’s presidency. She unapologetically showed support for the incoming president’s noble ambition.
A couple of weeks ago, NRTC confirmed that Eniola Badmus has been appointed the chairman of the Entertainment Committee for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubuās inauguration.
2. Seyi Law
Popular Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law infuriated numerous social media users when he expressed his support for Tinubu. As a matter of fact, war was waged against him for choosing to follow the path of the incoming president.
He has continued to show support for Tinubu on his various social media accounts.
3. Brymo
Throughout 2022 and the early part of 2023, the Nigerian recording artiste, Brymo waged war against numerous supporters of the opposition party. As a matter of fact, he swore that he cursed at a certain ethnic group.
4. Jaruma
Aphrodisiac merchant, Hauwa Muhammed who is also known as Jaruma showed immense support for Tinubu during his presidential campaign.

Kannywood superstar, Ali Nuhu spearheaded Tinubu’s presidential campaign in the Northern part of Nigeria. He mobilized notable Kannywood celebrities to aid in the aspirations of the president-elect.
