President Muhammadu Buhari has conferred the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima with the National Honours of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of Order of the Niger (GCON) respectively.
President Buhari also handed the transition documents to Tinubu at the event held on Thursday at the State House Conference Center in Abuja.
The Personal Assistant to the President on Broadcast Media, Buhari Sallau shared pictures from the event.

The event is part of the activities lined up for the May 29 inauguration ceremony.
