President Bola Tinubu has approved the relocation of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) to the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
Previously housed within the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, NACA’s relocation aims to foster synergy and enhance collaboration towards achieving the nation’s goal of the 95-95-95 pathway for ending the AIDS epidemic.
Tinubu, through a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, emphasised that the move reflects his administration’s commitment to harmonizing institutions across sectors.Ā
