Also in attendance were the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, and the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Chief Sunday Dare.

Founded in 2012 by Jeune Afrique Media in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Africa CEO Forum has grown into a major platform for conversations around investment, economic growth and private-sector development across Africa.

This year’s edition is themed, “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”

The discussions are expected to focus on regional collaboration, cross-border investment and strategies for accelerating Africa’s economic transformation.

Economic reforms

Tinubu is expected to deliver a keynote address titled, “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World.”

His speech will centre on Nigeria’s ongoing economic reforms and the government’s efforts to sustain them despite global economic uncertainty.

Beyond the main sessions, Tinubu is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with African and international business leaders as part of efforts to attract investment and deepen economic cooperation.

The President is also expected to use the forum to promote private sector partnerships, strengthen regional ties and reinforce Nigeria’s role in shaping Africa’s economic direction.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s participation reflects Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable growth, regional integration and collaborative economic development across the continent.
