Tinubu condemns killing of Ekiti traditional rulers

President Bola Tinubu has condemned the heinous killings of two traditional rulers in Ekiti State, the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola, and the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsola.

President Tinubu also ordered the immediate rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers in the Eporo-Ekiti vicinity.

He demonstrated his unwavering commitment to restoring peace and security in the region.

Expressing profound sorrow upon receiving the distressing news, President Tinubu further condemned the senseless and barbaric bloodshed.

The President assures that justice will be swiftly served against the perpetrators.

He extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the subjects of the esteemed traditional rulers, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and the resilient people of Ekiti State during this profoundly grievous period.
