President Bola Tinubu has assured investors in the energy sector of his administration’s dedication to improving the business climate and facilitating investment opportunities.
During the inauguration of three significant projects ā the expanded AHL Gas Processing Plant, the ANOH Gas Processing Plant, and the 23.3km ANOH to Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Custody Transfer Metering Station Gas Pipeline ā President Tinubu emphasised his government’s commitment to advancing other key projects aimed at realizing the nation’s gas-driven prosperity at the earliest.
Highlighting the alignment of these projects with the Decade of Gas Initiative and the administration’s vision for leveraging Nigeria’s abundant gas resources, President Tinubu underscored their importance in boosting industrial growth and creating employment opportunities.
He commended the strategic vision of NNPC Limited and its partners, Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO), and Seplat Energy Plc, for their commendable efforts in advancing these value-adding projects.

President Tinubu reiterated his administration’s determination to harness Nigeria’s vast gas potential to spur economic development, citing initiatives such as the Presidential CNG initiative aimed at transitioning to cleaner vehicular fuels and the incentivization of gas development through Presidential Directives.
He urged stakeholders and potential investors in the gas sector to embrace the theme of the inauguration ā “From Gas to Prosperity; Renewed Hope” ā as a rallying call to accelerate investment and project development for mutual benefit.
President Tinubu further reaffirmed his government’s commitment to supporting domestic gas utilization, increasing power generation capacity, revitalizing industries, and generating employment opportunities to drive economic growth.
