Tinubu vows to boost real estate value through road infrastructure

President Bola Tinubu has assured stakeholders in Nigeria’s real estate sector that his government is committed to enhancing the value of lands and properties by constructing vital access roads.

The president made this promise on Monday while commissioning the newly completed 15-kilometre A2 Junction Road in the Pai Community of Abuja.

“I am confident that property owners in this area will be pleased with the added value this road brings. We will continue to deliver more,” Tinubu declared.

He explained that the Federal Government’s focus on infrastructure was designed to improve lives and raise living standards across the country.

“This progress will endure as long as this administration remains committed to prioritising infrastructure development in all regions,” he added.

President Tinubu also praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for extending development efforts to previously neglected parts of Abuja.

“We are determined to ensure that development is equitable, inclusive, and truly transformative for all,” he pledged.

Describing the road’s commissioning as both symbolic and strategically significant, Tinubu said: “This road opens up a vital corridor for agriculture, trade, education, and improved mobility—key pillars that will help strengthen our economy from the grassroots.”

He emphasised that while the Pai Community has the potential to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s food production and economic growth, their efforts had long been constrained by poor road infrastructure, isolation, and years of neglect.

“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter,” Tinubu said.

The president urged residents to take ownership of the road and ensure its preservation.

“Let this road serve as a bridge to new opportunities—a pathway that will make life easier for young people, farmers, traders, and students alike,” he encouraged.
