Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa on Thursday, August 1 condemned those who were seen looting during the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest across Nigeria.
The foremost media personality took to her official X account where she mentioned that ought not to steal or destroy the properties of fellow citizens. She mentioned that it is important for people to focus on the objective which is to seek good governance and desist from looting.

“Destroying properties and stealing from your fellow Nigerians who are passing through the same hardship is not right at all. This is very sad,” she wrote.
Responding to a critic, she clarified that her tweet does not in any way suggest that the crimes were being perpetrated by the protesters.
She wrote, “I did not say the stealing and vandalism was done by protesters, the people who have their things stolen are Nigerians too, going through the same hardship. What have they done to deserve this?”
