It is highly incredible to pull off brilliant wins before the age of 25. Breaking into the entertainment industry before that age is worth mentioning.
Although most of these artistes came into limelight as a result of their stellar performance, they are products of consistency, grit and focus, especially on Instagram for a long time before eventually being noticed.
It is also worthy of note that some of these artistes got signed into a record label by Mavin Records because they are showing up on social media.
It shows that social media, these days, remains one of the 21st century powerful tools for social connection.

AYRA STARR
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderigbigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, is currently 20 years old.
Though her parents are from Kwara state, Nigeria, Ayra Star was born and also had her developing years in Cotonou, Benin.
She graduated from of Les Cours Sonou University, Benin where she received her Bachelor or Arts degree in International relations and Political science.
Ayra Starr music life had a new turnaround when Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin records saw a video cover she uploaded on Instagram for the Original song “Damage”.
This led to her first song recording in Mavins Record. Ayra Starr is popularly known for these songs: Rush(2022), Beggie Beggie(2021), Bloody Samaritan(2021), Fashion Killer(2021), and Runaway.
VICTONY
Anthony Ebuka Victor, a 21 year old Nigerian artiste with the talentedly/professionally known as Vict0ny is a nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter, he hails from Orsu Local Government, Imo state.
Vict0ny is currently a student of Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
He came into the music world when he traded rap verse with Ladiopoe on his revival Sunday series.
He rose to stardom in 2021 when he featured with Mayorkun on the song “Holy Father”.
Vict0ny is signed by a record label mainland blockparty and jingle records.
Vict0ny, in an interview with OkayAfrica said, “Music is my life, music is me. So no matter how Iām feeling I try to make it open enough for anyone else to see. Even if you canāt hear what Iām saying, the melodies or choice of chords will put you in your feelings.
I want you to be in the mood I was in when I made that record, so Iāll go to any extent to make you feel that whether with song or visuals”.

REMA
Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema (Redeeming Everything Music), was born into a Christian family in Benin city, Nigeria. Rema who is currently a student of university of Lagos is know for being a singer, rapper, and a songwriter.
Rema who became famous when his first song Dumebi got into limelight when he posted his freestyle video for D’Prince track “Gucci Gucci” which got D’Prince attention.
He later signed a record deal with Jonzing world, a subsidiary of Mavin Rrecords. Rema is a supporter of football club Manchester United F.C.
He is popularly known for these songs, dumebi(2019), “Beamer(Bad boys)”(2019), Lady(2019), Soundgasm(2021), Calm Down(2022).
RUGER
Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, is a singer and a songwriter who came into limelight when he was discovered by D’Prince who named him Ruger.
He was brought to spotlight, following the release of “One Shirt” with Rema.
Just like Rema, he was signed by Jonzing world. Over the time that he started his music career, Ruger has been able to release some hit songs like “Bounce” (2021), “Monalisa” (2021), “Dior” (2021), “Snapchat” (2021), “Girlfriend” (2022).
JOEBOY
Joseph Akinwale, popularly known as Joeboy is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.
Joeboy who grew up in Lagos state and also a graduate of University of Lagos got famous when he released his first single, “Baby” which garnered 20 millions views on YouTube and Spotify.

Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, is one of the new artists signed into BlowTime Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Mavin records label. He was born in Orile, Iganmu, Lagos State,
He has released singles such as; So Fine, Bamiloke, Gock Am, Unusual, Aye O, Shima, Mo Bad, Baby Fresh.
BAYANNI
Bayanni, a Nigerian singer and songwriter known by his stage name Zhenoboy is currently a student in Obafemi Awolowo University. He was born in the South Western region of Nigeria.
He had his early life in Lagos where he was pursuing his music career. Bayanni started recording covers of popular songs on posting them on his social media pages. He came into limelight when the announcement of him joining The Mavin records came out with a short clip.
KHAID
Sulaimon Shekoni Abiola, better known as Khaid (pronounced K-e-d), is a 17-year-old singer who grew up in a family of ten. He has seven siblings. Khaid grew up on the streets of Ojo town, which is located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
In his interview with pulse.ng, he said “the most interesting part of my childhood is the part where I get to do anything I want. At that time I just lived right. I had no worries of anything not bothered about not being balanced in life”.
OMAH LAY
Stanley Omah Didia, Omah Lay, a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt is popularly known to be a singer and songwriter who hails from Ikwerre, Rivers Local Government Area in River state.
He gained recognition in early 2020 after his self-produced single, “Bad Influence” went viral on social media. Omay Lay record label and he is the first artist highlighted for Apple’s Africa Rising Campaign to spotlight African talent.
If there is one thing one must learn from the lives of these artistes/musicians, it is that talent is never enough.
