SOUTHAMPTON VS CHELSEA

Adam Armstrong has been consigned to the bench more often than not due to Broja’s form but ought to rejoin the attack alongside Che Adams, while Stuart Armstrong will also eye a recall to the first XI.

As for Chelsea, Thiago Silva is potentially being rested ahead of the trip to Madrid. Marcos Alonso, Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech are all candidates to return for the first XI, while Romelu Lukaku could even earn a rare start if big-game player Havertz is saved for the Bernabeu trip.
EVERTON VS MANCHESTER UNITED
Everton will again be without the services of Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes, Tom Davies, Andros Townsend and Nathan Patterson through injury. Donny van de Beek is ineligible against his parent club.
The Toffees will be boosted by the returns of Michael Keane and Allan from suspension. Seamus Coleman is potentially coming back into the side at right-back but Vitaliy Mykolenko should retain his spot at left-back this weekend.
As for Man United, Cristiano Ronaldo has been back training this week and should be in the starting XI here. The club will be without Edinson Cavani, Luke Shaw and Mason Greenwood.

ARSENAL VS BRIGHTON
Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu are ruled out of this contest. The stage is set for Albert Sambi Lokonga without Thomas Partey. Nicolas Pepe will also hope to be back from illness in time for this one.
Arsenal were not the only ones to be dealt a serious injury blow in the latest round of fixtures, with Brighton’s Jakub Moder only on the pitch for five minutes against Norwich before rupturing his ACL.
Adam Webster (groin) is keeping Moder company in the treatment room after a small setback in his recovery, but he could force his way into contention here, while Moises Caicedo should be fit to return from a bout of illness.
Ex-Arsenal man Danny Welbeck and Maupay spearheaded an unconventional 3-1-4-2 formation against Norwich – which did not pay dividends – and Potter may consider recalling Yves Bissouma to the first XI here.
MAN CITY VS LIVERPOOL
Ruben Dias and youngster Cole Palmer are still absent due to injury. Guardiola will welcome a well-rested Kyle Walker back from a Champions League ban. Foden’s bright impact off the bench against Atletico should lead Guardiola to consider a recall for the 21-year-old, who could be flanked by Riyad Mahrez and ex-Red Raheem Sterling here.
Meanwhile, Liverpool welcomed Trent Alexander-Arnold back from a hamstring problem much quicker than initially anticipated, while Naby Keita shook off a knee issue to play 89 minutes against Benfica.
Fabinho came off in that game with a cut to the head but did not sustain a concussion at the incident, and Klopp announced at his press conference that he expects to have everyone fit and available for the top-of-the-table clash.
