Liverpool’s right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to join Spanish giants Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.
His contract with the Reds is set to expire at the end of the season, and negotiations with Madrid have reportedly advanced towards a five-year agreement.

26-year-old Alexander-Arnold has been a pivotal figure for Liverpool since making his bow nine years ago. He has garnered 349 appearances and contributed significantly to the team’s recent successes, including Premier League and Champions League titles.

Despite Liverpool’s efforts to secure a contract extension and their rejection of Real Madrid’s initial approach in January, TAA seems open to a new challenge. The potential transfer would reunite Alexander-Arnold with his England teammate Jude Bellingham.
His move would also address Real Madrid’s need for a standard right-back following Dani Carvajal’s anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

Although no official agreement has been communicated to Liverpool, reports suggest that all parties remain confident about finalising the deal.
