Tunji-Ojo appoints Omogunwa Olufemi as SA

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has appointed Omogunwa Olufemi as his new Special Assistant, SA.

The appointment was confirmed in a press release issued from Abuja on Tuesday by the minister’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Babatunde Alao.

The statement detailed Omogunwa’s considerable background, noting his prior experience as an Assistant Branch Manager at Geminus Hotel in Akure.

In that capacity, he handled key duties such as integrating and training new staff, overseeing sales operations, and conducting vital market research.

Tunji-Ojo voiced his strong belief in the appointee’s capabilities.

He commented that Omogunwa’s proficiency and knowledge will be an “invaluable” asset to his office in advancing initiatives for the public good.

An alumnus of the University of Ado Ekiti, Omogunwa holds a degree in Political Science.

His appointment is effective immediately, placing him in a direct reporting line to the minister.
