Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk has spoken candidly about his relationship with former Heavyweight champion of the World Anthony Joshua in deeply personal terms.
“Now he’s my big, big brother. Not my rival, not my opponent. He’s my partner. My brother.” Usyk, who chose to replace past tension with mutual admiration, said.
Usyk went further to praise Joshua’s resilience despite recent setbacks in the ring. “Anthony is a champion. He doesn’t have belts now, doesn’t matter.”
He then delivered a defining line about true greatness when he said, “Champion is a man who never gives up.”
