Veteran Nollywood actor Fabian Adibe has passed away at the age of 82.
The news of his death was made known on Wednesday morning via CEO of Best Nollywood, BON, Seun Oloketuyi.
Adibe, who was widely recognized for his role in the screen adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart, died in the early hours of the day.
“Things Fall Apart actor, Fabian Adibie, is dead. Died 2:30 am this morning,” Oloketuyi posted on social media.

His career spanned decades, during which he featured in several classic Nigerian films that shaped the industry.
Adibe was married since 1978 and had four children, including actress Chioma and director Emeka.
He also served in the Biafra army during the Nigerian Civil War and was imprisoned for 30 months.
