Victony explains how the single, ‘Soweto’ pulsated his career

Nigerian singer, Victony featured on the South African single, ‘Soweto’ back in 2021. The single is original owned by the music producer, Tempoe.

The singer-songwriter whose real name is Anthony Ebuka Victor has attributed his career success to his hit song ā€˜Soweto.ā€™

He stated this during a recent interview with Sound City.

ā€œā€˜Sowetoā€™ changed my life. It changed my life in the sense that I was able to travelled to places I didnā€™t believe that I would get to in a very short time,ā€ he said.

ā€œThe song was already successful in late 2022, and in 2023, we wanted to maintain that success so we employed Don Toliver and Rema on the remix. Theyā€™re very big names and their sounds are not far from what ā€˜Sowetoā€™ sound like.ā€

Victony added that heā€™s currently an independent artist.
