Victor Boniface heads to Serie A as Milan secure Leverkusen striker

AC Milan have reached a verbal agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the loan signing of Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, on a €30 million purchase option. The agreement included a €5 million loan fee. If exercised, the buy option, worth around €24 million, could extend Boniface’s stay at San Siro until 2030.

Negotiations advanced swiftly after Milan shifted focus from alternative targets such as Rasmus Højlund, aiming to reinforce their forward line before the Serie A campaign.

Boniface have already settled personal terms with the Italian side. Milan expect his agent in Italy to finalise details before the player undergoes routine medical examinations.
