Victor Osimhen deletes all Napoli-related posts from Instagram account

The situation surrounding an unacceptable treatment of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen by Napoli has resulted in the player deleting all posts relating to the club on his Instagram account.

Less than two days ago, the 24-year-old was a subject of a TikTok troll video that was posted on Napoli’s official TikTok account. The admin of that account obviously trolled the former Lille man after his penalty miss against Bologna on Sunday.

The video has received a lot of backlash from fans across the world, especially Nigerians.

In the video, Osimhen was seen appealing for a penalty, which he eventually missed in the 72nd minute. Napoli eventually drew that encounter 0-0, meaning they have failed to win any of their last three league games.

Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has since threatened that the player will see legal action over his treatment. And now, a visit to the Super Eagles forward’s Instagram page clearly shows he’s deleted all posts related to Napoli.

There is now a high possibility that last season’s Serie A top scorer will leave the club soon. Osimhen has not renewed his contract even after Napoli claimed the league title last season – their first in 33 years.
