Comedian Oluwaseyitan Lawrence Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has made it clear that he will never support Peter Obi’s bid for the presidency.
He made this known during a recent chat on the Tejubabyface show, where he explained what led to his strong stance.
Seyi Law explained that his decision comes from a painful experience involving his family.
According to him, he was targeted online by supporters of Peter Obi, known as the Obidient movement, after he publicly supported President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 election.
He claimed the attacks went beyond him and affected his wife and children.

The comedian said that while he usually doesn’t hold grudges for long, he cannot let go of issues that involve his family.
He said that once people direct hate toward his loved ones, especially his wife and children, it becomes a personal matter he cannot forgive.
He blamed Peter Obi for not addressing the actions of his supporters.
He feels that Obi’s failure to speak out or distance himself from the hurtful behavior of some Obidients is enough reason to withdraw any form of support from him now or in the future.
Seyi Law added that no matter how good or righteous Peter Obi may appear, he has made up his mind not to back him for any political position, especially the presidency.
His loyalty, he said, remains with those who allow free expression and respect for personal choices.
