Reality TV star Josephina Otabor, known as Phyna, sparked online reactions after she was stopped from entering the birthday party of 2025 Big Brother Naija winner, Imisi.
The incident took place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the event venue, where security officials prevented her from going inside.
A video that later surfaced online showed Phyna visibly upset as she explained what happened at the entrance.
She said she was blocked because she was livestreaming the event for her followers.
According to her, event organisers and security personnel asked her to turn off her camera before she could be allowed in.
She refused, saying she did not see any reason for the instruction.
Phyna stated that she only came to celebrate Imisi and had no intention of causing trouble.

She felt the decision to stop her was unfair and questioned why the rule appeared to apply only to her.
She also complained about what she described as unequal treatment, noting that other popular content creators who often record or stream at events might not have faced the same restriction.
Despite her objections, security officials reportedly insisted that filming and recording were not allowed inside the party, leading to a tense moment at the entrance and her eventual refusal to enter the venue.
