The 2026 FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19 across three host nations, USA, Canada and Mexico.
It will be the biggest yet, with 48 nations taking part, 16 more than in Qatar 2022.
The final six spots were decided in March. Sweden, Turkey, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Czech Republic qualified through UEFA playโoffs.
Iraq and DR Congo claimed the last two places via interโconfederation playโoffs, with Iraq returning after four decades.
Curacao had already secured qualification, becoming the smallest nation ever to reach a World Cup.

Africa will be represented by Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Ghana, Algeria, Tunisia, Cรดte d’Ivoire, Cape Verde, South Africa, and DR Congo.

Europe sends 16 teams. They’re Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czechia, England, France, Germany, Netherlands. Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey.
North and Central America feature Canada, Mexico, USA, Panama, Haiti and Curaรงao.

South Americaโs contingent includes holders Argentina, alongside Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, and Ecuador. Oceania adds New Zealand and Solomon Islands.ย
The group stage runs from June 11 to 27, followed by knockout rounds.
The final will be played on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New YorkโNew Jersey. Final 26โman squads must be submitted by May 30.
