You are ingrates – Olasco Films fires back at Okunnu, Austin Emmanuel for calling him out [VIDEO]

Veteran movie marketer and producer, Akeem Olatunji Balogun, widely known in the industry as Olasco Films, has lashed out at actors Okunnu and Austin Emmanuel, branding them ungrateful over recent allegations made against him.

His reaction follows separate claims by the two actors accusing him of unfair treatment and professional misconduct.

News Round The Clock recalls that Okunnu recently accused Olasco Films of withholding profits from a movie produced for him about 16 years ago. The actor, who expressed lingering resentment over the issue, said, “I haven’t forgiven Olasco.”

Similarly, Austin Emmanuel had earlier alleged that Olasco Films and his associate, Toymax Films, deliberately sidelined him in the industry. The actor, who has been largely absent from the screen in recent years, further accused Toymax of having an affair with his girlfriend, Aisha Raji.

Responding to the accusations during an interview with actor Tunde Ola-Yusuf, Olasco dismissed the claims and described both actors as ingrates.

Defending himself, he maintained that he financially supported Okunnu’s project at the time and also contributed significantly to Austin Emmanuel’s rise to fame.

“Okunnu is like a blind man using a walking stick, and when he regained his sight, he threw away the walking stick that was guiding him when he was blind. That’s who he is for him to say he worked for me without pay. Okunnu collected N2 million from me to produce the movie for me 16 years ago. As at that time, production only cost between N700,000 to N1 million.

“Austin Emmanuel wants to trend with my name. I assisted him to advertise the very movie that made him famous in my films, so he’s an ingrate,” he said.
