Nigerian comedian and media personality Teju Oyelakin, popularly known as Teju Babyface, has shared advice on handling infidelity in relationships.
He told his audience to avoid confessing cheating to their partners, saying it can cause serious problems in a marriage.
According to Teju, confessing unfaithfulness does not help the spouse but only adds complications to the relationship.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, he explained that guilt from cheating should be addressed privately, rather than transferring it to a partner.

Teju warned that revealing such acts can hurt trust and create tension between couples.
He stressed that managing personal mistakes without involving the other person can prevent unnecessary conflict and protect the bond in a relationship.
He said: “Never confess to Cheating: The Shocking Truth! Everyone tells you to ‘come clean’ if you cheat. Even the Bible is misquoted to back that up. But let me be clear: confession is to God, not to your spouse.
“When you confess to them, it is not honesty, it is manipulation. You are just transferring your guilt and sabotaging your relationship. There is no benefit to them (your spouse). All the benefit is yours.”
