Cristiano Ronaldo has always been a showman and he doesn’t heistate to show his mettle on the pitch.
Normally players in their mid-thirties will be thinking about retirement. But it seems to be different with Ronaldo as he aims to continue breaking and setting new records.
Thus it was no surprise to see him become the highest goal scorer in the history of the European Championship. He scored a brace against Hungary in their opener and the feat drew him nearer to becoming the highest goal scorer for the national teams.
In classic showman style, the Juventus talisman also got into the news when he shoved Coca Cola bottles aside during his press conference; that singular action cost the beverage drink company $4bn.

With just four goals behind the current record holder, reaching and surpassing the record is easily achievable.
Will Ronaldo leave Juventus this season?
After Juventus failed to defend their 9th straight Scudetto, speculations continue to surround Ronaldo’s future.
First, the Portuguese captain seems to be dissatisfied with the Old Lady for sacking Andrea Pirlo after just one season in charge.
The second reason relates to his comment at the end of the season. Ronaldo stated that he had achieved everything he needed to achieve with the Bianconeri, having won all the domestic trophies and individual awards. The comment hinted at a return to Sporting Lisbon, where it all started for the legend.

He has also been linked with a return to Manchester United and Real Madrid. PSG would also like to have the Champions League winner. No doubt, any team would want a match-winner in their squad.
But anything is possible as the Ronaldo is yet to decide on his future. His recent comment during the press conference shows that Ronaldo may have something up his sleeves, yet he stated that his attention is focussed on the Euros.
What’s on Ronaldo’s mind?
This means two things are on the mind of Ronaldo at the moment – helping Portugal defend their Euro title and setting personal records. These he can achieve with the support of his teammates.
With Portugal now out of the games, those dreams are now on hold. After all, what matters is that he has given his best to his beloved country. But we have not heard the last of the sporting legend.
As things stand, Ronaldo seems to have decided his future. However we may have to wait for the tournament to end before we hear what those plans are. Until then, speculations will continue both in printed media and on social media.
It is also very likely that Juventus will do all within its power to ensure that Ronaldo remains in Turin.
