Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been ruled out of the Premier League clash against Chelsea after returning a suspected positive test for Covid-19.
The 54-year-old is experiencing mild symptoms and is self-isolating. This means his assistant Pep Lijnders will take charge of the visit to Stamford Bridge.
Klopp had on Friday revealed that three players had tested positive for Covid-19. According to a Liverpool statement, there had been no further cases among the playing squad. However, three backroom staff have also returned suspected positive tests.
