Nigerian innovator and socialite, Tony Elumelu was full of praises for Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke aka Davido for recently selling out O2 Arena in United Kingdom.
In a Twitter post on Monday afternoon, the business owner and Economist applauded the singer’s performance in United Kingdom. He also addressed creatives in the country who have continued to promote African culture and value across the globe.
Tony Elumelu did not stop there; he went on mention Wizkid, a Grammy award winner who also sold out O2 Arena within three minutes.
Davido has now joined the burgeoning list of Nigerian recording artistes who have achieved success at 20,000 capacity located in London following his performance at the arena o Saturday, March 5.
Speaking via his Twitter page, Elumelu wrote,
“The 20k capacity arena was filled up; same arena where @wizkidayoās recent concert got sold out within minutes for 3 nights.”

The founder of the strategic investment group, Transcorp did not stop there; he went on to state that the Nigerian creative sphere has some of the most innovative and illustrious personnel. He mentioned that several entertainers in the country appeal to a global audience and it makes them one of the strongest exports in the world.
Tony Elumelu continued:
“The Nigerian creative sector has such global coverage and appeal that it is now one of our strongest exports and brand projection.”
Tony Elumelu went on to share a video of himself enjoying his time at Davido’s concert in United Kingdom.
