The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has given the reason he is yet to release his manifesto ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
According to him, “I am waiting for the positions of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, before releasing my manifesto.
The former Governor of Anambra State disclosed this while speaking with BBC.
The LP presidential candidate has come under heavy criticism for delaying the release of his manifesto ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

However, the former governor dismissed the criticism, emphasizing that the country has a number of ideas and documented policy programs which had been rendered ineffective due to a lack of implementation and political will to do them.
Doyin Okupe, the Director-General of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign, had disclosed that the Labour Party’s manifesto will be made public ‘sometime next week’.
He also added that it would be different from that of other political parties.
