Be quiet and drive far away from those who have hurt you with their words, hands and cruel attitude. Put yourself together and drive yourself from hurt, pain and other forms and impecuniousness.

In recent times, it is palpable that the separation and divorce rate has skyrocketed in Nigeria, broken homes and single parenting is fast becoming the order of the day.

The era of patience and understanding in marriages seem to be eluding us rapidly; we now dwell in a generation of fast money, fast cars, fast food, quickie relationships; faster means of communication but ever decreasing pace on our level of integrity, trustworthiness and friendship.

Look deep into our homes; our so called beautiful “career” women now leave all the nurturing of a child to her housemaid or nanny, not bad but with the current societal vices no one is to be trusted.

I have seen clips on the internet and read journals about how nannies have maltreated babies, kidnapped, murdered and driven far away with those innocent souls for money ritual.

It’s time for the young couples to re-strategize about their family life, this would be handful.

Furthermore, husbands who drive to brothels after every fight with their wives should wake up; sleeping with a prostitute is cheap and it shows the quality of your mind, you’re a “cheap-fuck” as well.

Our fathers got lost hustling and bustling for money but forgot to build a durable relationship and strong bond with their sons; African fathers chase the funds so much their little soldiers have no memories to behold.

No fun moments to uphold just the sound of silence and resentment from a curmudgeon; little wonder acrimonious-hearted young men leave home with an ambitious heart to be self-made.

Everyone is becoming paranoid, looking over their shoulders like everything is wrong because staunch friendship is rare in recent time; blood is no longer family because everyone is thirsty, the one you love today might hurt you tomorrow be warned.

To kill the hurt, pain, shame, heartache and delusions don’t die quietly, communicate and let’s know where our souls belong, before you drive far away from home know the direction your life is heading, adios!
