Water is essential to humans and about 60% of the human body is made up of water meaning that the importance of drinking water cannot be overemphasized. To be able to function properly, the organs and cells in the human body need water.

Studies have revealed that those who drink water frequently are less likely to suffer from wrinkles and scars and will age better than those who drink little amounts of water.

It helps prevent a hangover


Water can help to prevent those unpleasant symptoms that you undergo after drinking alcohol.

Alcohol is a diuretic meaning it makes you lose fluid by urinating and it can lead to dehydration. Having a glass of water between drinks can help reduce the symptoms of hangovers.

Aids weight loss


Drinking water increases your metabolism, which increases the number of calories you burn daily. Studies have also proven that drinking water before meals is effective because it makes you feel more full and eat fewer calories.

It aid digestion


Water is very important for the bowel to function properly. Dehydration leads to digestive problems and constipation and drinking water help break down the foods so that your system can absorb the nutrients.
