Liz Truss on Thursday, October 20 confirmed she will not be continuing her role as the British Prime Minister.
Her announcement is coming only spending 44 days in the office as Prime Minister.

In a statement read outside Downing Street, Liz Truss said: “I came into office at a time of great economic and international instability.”
Following her latest announcement, she became the shortest tenured prime minister in the United Kingdom’s history.
Of late, Truss battled to stabilize her position after an economic crash forced her into humiliating U-turns on tax reforms.
