As Christmas is approaching, Nollywood actress, Mary Njoku, has warned Nigerian ladies to be careful with men coming from abroad to celebrate the holiday in Nigeria.
The actress on her Instagram page[maryremmynjoku] stated that many of them([Nigerian men who live abroad] will come into the country to deceive ladies with their accents.
She wrote, “£10 is now 10k. So be careful with IJGB this Christmas. ‘ I wanna gonna’ is NOT a measure of one’s intelligence or success

The actress gave an account of a time during her childhood days when a street brother who came from London claiming to had a law firm, only to see him working in a barber’s shop in the UK, years after she traveled.

Njoku further advised the ladies not to fall for an accent, saying it was not a criterion for measuring an individual’s intelligence or success.
