Former world number one Daniil Medvedev reached the Miami Open semi-finals after he beat American qualifier Christopher Eubanks in straight sets.
The Russian fourth seed won 6-3 7-5 after a brilliant performance.
Medvedev, 27, will now play fellow Russian Karen Khachanov, who beat Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo 6-3 6-2.
The 2021 US Open champion’s fine streak of form has continued as he has won 22 of his past 23 matches. His win over Eubanks means he has qualified for the semi-finals at a fifth straight ATP event.

Daniil Medvedev experienced his only below-par performance in recent times when he lost the Indian Wells final to Spanish world number one Carlos Alcaraz. This was after he recorded successive title wins in Rotterdam, Doha and Dubai.
In the women’s singles, Czech star Petra Kvitová beat Russia’s Ekaterina Alexandrova in their quarter-final fixture.
Seeded 15th, Kvitová, who is a two-time Wimbledon champion, won 6-4 3-6 6-3 to reach the Miami semi-finals for the first time in her career. Up next for her is Romania’s Sorana Cirstea next.
