The current record holder for the longest cooking marathon, Chef Lata Tondon, has taken to her Instagram to call for peace as Nigerians wait for Hilda Baci to be announced as the official World Record breaker.
Since Nigerian Hilda Baci cooked for over 100 hours, breaking and setting a new record, many Nigerians have been eagerly waiting for Guinness to announce that she has broken the record.
Some Nigerians have also harassed the former record holder,Ā Chef Lata Tondon,Ā who cooked for more than 87 hours, by going under her pictures on Instagram to comment many unpleasant things.

Yesterday, NRTC reported that the Guinness World Record mentioned on Twitter that the Akwa Ibom-born chefās impeccable performance is yet to be verified, but they needed time to verify and review the evidence.
As of the time of this report, the previous record holder is asking people in Nigeria and India to maintain peace and wait for Guinness to announce first.
Nigerian Guinness Record Holder,Ā Kaffi, who broke the record for the longest a group has danced, dancing for over 55 hours 40 minutes, said it may take about a week for Guinness verification to be made and a certificate given.
