Bad boy Timz shares how he was shot in the eye (Photos)

Nigerian recording artiste, Bad Boy Timz has revealed he was shot in the eye by armed robbers when he was nine.

The budding singer-songwriter stated that the incident happened in Mushin area, Lagos state when he was in a vehicle conveying members of his family.

He mentioned that the armed robbers started shooting sporadically and one of the bullets hit him in the eye.

The ‘MJ’ crooner disclosed this in a recent chat with British-Nigerian media personality, Shopsydoo.

Timz said: “I got shot in my eye when I was nine years old. They were assassins, they didn’t even stop the car, they just shot the bullets. It was not a robbery.

“Me, my mom, my dad and my immediate elder brother. It was four of us in the car. The incident happened in Lagos, Mushin to be precise. They just overtook us and started shooting. They were targeting my dad’s head, he dodged and the bullet went straight into my eye.”

Timz, who said the assailants were never apprehended, disclosed that he will be undergoing another eye surgery soon.

Following his revelation, several social media users disputed his revelation. The youngster then shared a collage photo on his Twitter account to disclose that the incident indeed happened.

In the photo, Timz was seen with a plaster on his face.

Speaking on Twitter, he wrote, “I wonder why Nigerians will think I said that for clout! I’m not like your faves”
