AMVCA 2023: Broda Shaggi, Bimbo Ademoye wins ‘Best Actor and Actress’ in Comedy

Skit maker, Samuel Animashaun Perry, known as Broda Shaggi, has won Best Actor in Comedy while Bimbo Ademoye won Best Actress in Comedy (Movie/TV Series) at the ongoing Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA, an annual accolade presented by MultiChoice recognizing outstanding achievement in television and film.

Shaggi won the award with his role in the movie ”Inside Life” while Bimbo won with her role in the hit series “Selina.”

Bimbo was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy/TV Series at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2018, for her role in the film ‘Backup Wife.’

The ninth edition of AMVCA currently held in Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos is being aired live on all Africa Magic channels.
