Eid-El-Kabir: Akpabio urges Nigerians to exercise patience with Tinubu’s government


The president of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has appealed to Nigerians to exercise a little patience with the new government and give it their support in order to take the country out of the woods.

Akpabio in his congratulatory message to Muslim faithful on this yearā€™s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, saluted Nigerians’ resilience and patriotism in the face of the current challenges facing our nation.

“I felicitate our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and Vice President Kashim Shettima GCON, as they celebrate their first Eid-el-Kabir as President and vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Akpabio said.

He assured Nigerians that the 10th National Assembly under his leadership would support the President Tinubu-led government with necessary legislative interventions for the benefit of Nigerians.

‘Today, I join the Muslim Ummah and Nigerians in general, to celebrate this year’s Sallah festival.

“I salute the resilience and patriotism of Nigerians in the face of the current challenges facing our nation. We should all see it as part of the process of nation building towards a better tomorrow.
