Plateau killings: Tinubu directs security agencies to fish out masterminds

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed security agencies to fish out the masterminds of the latest round of violence and killings in Plateau State to face the full wrath of the law.

Tinubu in a statement by his special adviser on special duties, communications, and strategy, Dele Alake expressed sadness and grief over the killings in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State and parts of Benue State.

The President condemned in strong terms the killing, saying he found very depressing the festering reprisal attacks, needless and avoidable bloodletting among communities in the two States.

“To build virile, peaceful and prosperous communities demand tolerance and forgiveness for every perceived wrongdoing.”
