‘No one is indispensable’ is a lie they sold to all of us

Going through the past decade of my life up till now, I have come to firmly believe that there are certain people in my life that are truly indispensable – absolutely needed, and I also believe this is same for everyone else.

While some might disagree, I urge you to read on and consider the impact these special people can have on our journey through life.

They might not be as essential to us as water, but they play significant roles in helping us climb the ladder of success and become better versions of ourselves.

These individuals, be it a life partner or a dear friend, become integral parts of our existence, almost inseparable, and can be perceived as divine blessings.

Yes, there are indeed people in this world who are indispensable. Do not be deceived. I have seen situations where individuals abruptly cut off relationships or partnerships under the belief that no one is irreplaceable. Unfortunately, some have suffered the consequences of such decisions.

Let us avoid falling into this trap – that no one is indispensable. Some individuals are like gods to us, not in the sense of divinity, but in the sense that our lives may not progress as smoothly without them. Achieving our goals might take years longer, or we may find ourselves wandering aimlessly until we eventually find our way.

When I mention “indispensable,” I am not suggesting they hold the same level of importance as fundamental necessities like water, food, air, or God. Rather, these individuals should be held in high regard, almost as if they were gods, but of course, not to the same extent as we revere God.

We should respect and honor them sincerely for the significant roles they play in our lives. These indispensable figures may be our spouse, siblings, friends, classmates, mentors, parents, bosses, and more. How we treat them matters greatly, and fostering lasting relationships with them is essential.

Let us not be misled by the notion that “no one is indispensable” and take actions that we may later regret. Instead, let us value the special connections we have and cherish the people who bring immense value to our lives.

By doing so, we create a network of support and love that can guide us through life’s challenges and propel us towards achieving our dreams.

May we not inadvertently harm ourselves with the mistaken belief that we can do without these indispensable individuals.
