Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi has said she feels coach Randy Waldrum does not like her as a person.
The player said this during a discussion hosted by Sports journalist Osasu Obayiuwana on X Spaces on Thursday morning.
“I don’t feel like he (Waldrum) likes me as a person,” in response to a question asked her.

Recall that Okobi was excluded from Randy Waldrum’s list of 23 players that made it to the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
The midfielder however stated that she sent a WhatsApp message to the coach asking why she was left out.
According to her, Waldrum responded by telling her his hands were tied.
Okobi also said that she got a lot of support from some of her teammates like Asisat Oshoala and Ashleigh Plumptre after she was surprisingly left out of the World Cup squad.

The 29-year-old also said veteran Rita Chikwelu reached out to her.
