Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has expressed his feelings about the transfer situation surrounding Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo.
“I have already forgotten [about] Moises,” the 44-year-old said when asked about his understanding of the situation that a deal for the sale of Caicedo has been agreed with Liverpool.
“I am really proud of the players we have in the squad. We have to complete the squad,” De Zerbi also said.

“We want to improve the squad because we lost MacAllister, we lost Colwill, maybe we lose Caicedo.” De Zerbi said, scratching his beards, during the press conference.
Speaking further, the Italian manager added: “I think the big clubs can buy the players but they can’t buy our soul and our spirit.”
“That is nothing on the market and it is more important than the players when they leave.”
