As we grow, we begin to find ourselves running towards the direction that our peers are running to, or even constantly measuring ourselves and our achievements according to them, or it may be doing everything we can to achieve what they have achieved.
While this habit is not entirely bad, it can predispose us to follow a peer’s path, a path that is entirely different from ours. Not only that, our clarity can be hindered significantly.
This trait can make us keep running when everyone else is, even though we don’t know where they are running to. Every passing day, our peers are getting married, getting admission, going for NYSC, getting jobs and scholarships, travelling abroad and even giving birth or building a family — all these are causes of peer pressure.
