Anytime you hear ‘fear women’, it is one of these five things

fear women

“Fear women” is a popular phrase in Nigeria used to warn men (and even women) to be cautious of their dealings with women, especially when it concerns children, money, and sex.

It’s also been popularised that the fear of women is the beginning of wisdom, or something like “after God, fear women”, and “fear women and save your life”.

Although it comes off as generalization as all women are not the same, just like all men are not the same. Anytime you hear this phrase – fear women, it is one of these five things.

Anytime you hear ‘fear women’, it is one of these five things

1. A woman has a child for another man outside wedlock

The woman must’ve stayed with the man for a number of years and all her children are not for the man she’s officially married to. Unless DNA proves otherwise, she’ll keep mute and let the man raise the children. If no DNA is carried out, she’ll maintain the status quo for as long as there’s ‘peace’ in the house.

2. A woman jilted a man after he sponsored her through school

While I strongly believe that a woman has a choice to make concerning who she ends up getting married to and that a man should always do things out of goodwill and sheer love, it’s dishonesty on the part of the woman to keep a man with her for as long as she needs him (for financial gains) while waiting for someone she truly desires. Yes, “fear women” is a valid phrase here.

3. She keeps multiple boyfriends or even a sugar daddy for different purposes

Until she’s eventually caught, she can manage all of them effectively and she’ll still be fine. One thing some women are good at is the ability to compartmentalize – each man for every need (sexual satisfaction, money, academic help, for social events, or for urgent 2k).

The woman might also be keeping sugar daddies or sleeping with someone’s husband until she gets caught in the act.

4. She’s sleeping with her best friend’s boyfriend

Now, this act – sleeping with her best friend’s boyfriend – warrants the phrase “fear women”. The act, which is condemnable by all standards, is a testament to how the fundamental values (honesty, trust, integrity, etc) are being neglected in our contemporary society today.

It might also be that she’s dating her best friend’s ex without her friend’s knowledge or shortly after her friend and her partner broke up.

5. There’s a false accusation of rape by her

When a woman accuses a man of rape, the accusation often borders on credibility as the odds are already stacked against the man, whether the man commits the crime or not. We’ve seen one of many cases like this. This false accusation of rape often stems from the desire to revenge when a man breaks up with her or something closely similar to revenge.

So, anytime you hear this phrase “fear women”, it’s high time you took it very seriously, for men and women alike.
